Volunteer Opportunities

Our Volunteer County Coordinator program is an effort to provide information and assistance to anyone interested in conservation of Eastern Bluebird and other cavity-nesting birds native to North Carolina. Representatives of the various counties in North Carolina serve as a point of contact for NCBS in their county.
Each County Coordinator is provided with a notebook containing Bluebird Tips, a DVD named Bluebirds in the Nest Box, field record booklet, a list of Resources for Birders, and other useful material.
We currently have County Coordinator opportunities in some North Carolina counties.
